Search for the big snakes
You start small and you want to get big as fast as possible. Start searching for bigger snakes. They often make small mistakes and when they do, you want to be close by. Go for the more crowded spots. Crowded spots is where bigger snakes often fail to dodge in time. This is your opportunity to grab those tasty dots.

Using speed
By holding down the mouse button, you can accelerate your snake and increase your movement speed. This is very handy when you want to pick up dots from killed snakes. But more importantly you can use this to trap or escape from other snakes. Use speed to cut them off and to ensure they bump into your tail. So why not using speed all the time? Using speed also make you lose dots every second. If you hold your speed button to long you will become smaller again.

Trapping other snakes
When your snake is long enough you can trap little snakes by locking them in. Try to create a circle with your tail around the smaller snake. Use speed to lock up the circle and make them stuck inside of you. Keep on circling around the little snake and reduce the width of your circle until they bump against you.

Protecting your dots
When a big snake dies in-front of you, it can create a lot of attention towards it. Of course you want all the dots for yourself. Use your speed and create a wall around the dots with your tail. This way other players don’t get the chance to steal dots from your victory.
